The seminar showed attendees the process of modelling a housing development using an example drawn from a real case study. Also demonstrated, were the ways in which such visualisations can be displayed and there were opportunities to discuss how these might be used by those involved in the construction industry.

The seminar gave a introduction to data mining for local businesses and was attended by almost 50 guests. Presentations were given by Professor Vic Rayward-Smith and Dr George Smith from the SYS Data Mining group which has international experience in both commercial and academic data mining projects.
